Jessica Giesen

Jessica Giesen’s background and expertise includes representing individual and corporate clients in the courtroom to leading some of the country’s premier luxury brands in marketing, communications, media and public relations. Her experience makes her uniquely positioned to guide attorneys and firms seeking elevated branding and communication strategies.

After graduating from law school fifth in her class, Cum Laude, Jessica began her legal career in criminal defense litigation in Madison, Wisconsin, working with clients at the trial and appellate court levels throughout the state. She also assisted her firm with the representation of clients with personal injury and other civil litigation matters.

In 2010, Jessica moved to New York City where she fell into the world of luxury brand marketing, ultimately accepting a job with Versace where she worked on the women’s, men’s, children’s and home lines as the marketing manager for the United States. She traveled to the company’s Milan headquarters often and oversaw client and branding events throughout the country, prepared and approved copywriting for all marketing materials (digital and print), managed casting and photo shoots, managed an outside public relations firm and directed all design for marketing materials to ensure consistent and proper branding directions and guidelines. In this role she developed a keen eye and appreciation for elevated and luxury branding and marketing execution.

From Versace, Jessica accepted a role with Ralph Lauren with the marketing team for the women’s Runway Collection, the premiere line within the brand. She was promoted to Director of Marketing for all women’s wholesale accounts including Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus.

In 2014, Jessica was recruited to join Triumph Motorcycles and lead its Atlanta-based marketing department as the Director of Marketing & Public Relations for North America. At Triumph, she continued to oversee marketing plans, budgets, material creation, directed an outside digital marketing agency and had the opportunity to work on the overhaul of global websites for the company. She coordinated the United States marketing plans with those of the marketing directors for all other markets worldwide and spent time around the world planning, executing and attending press releases for new product launches. She planned, wrote and approved press releases and worked directly with media outlets to address press needs and promote Triumph globally. In 2015 she was recognized by the British Consulate-General in Atlanta as one of five ‘influential women’ connected to U.K.-based businesses.

Returning to Wisconsin in 2016, Jessica rejoined her prior law firm as Partner and once again took on the representation of individual and corporate clients. Soon thereafter, she and her law partner were recipients of the Wisconsin State Bar Appellate Practice Section’s “2018 Best Brief” award, which recognizes exceptional appellate writing, for a legal brief submitted to and successfully argued before the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

Today, she has married her areas of expertise and background and maintains a small legal practice focusing on civil litigation, personal injury and family law, while primarily focusing on marketing and branding consulting for law firms and legal associations across the country.
